Steamatic has the latest technology in hardwood floor cleaning, and the specialized cleaners being used are far superior to any other cleaning system. The Dirt Dragon cleaning system aggressively scrubs the floor and removes contaminants without damaging hardwood floors. There are two different cleaning options using green cleaners. These cleaners are low odor and minimize downtime.
Intensive Cleaning: Aggressively cleans: dirt, grease, hair, dust, built-up residue, and other contaminants.
-This can be done alone as a routine maintenance procedure.
--Scrub the floor with floor prep cleaning machine and intensive floor cleaner
--Repeat scrub with cleaning machine and chemical neutralizer
--Tack with micro fiber cleaning pad and commercial floor cleaner
Clean and Refinish: Aggressively cleans and Refinishes the floor to a uniform sheen of gloss or satin.
-A Combination of the Intensive Cleaning step and a quick and easily applied Hardwood Floor Refinisher. This system removes the dirt and restores your floor to a uniform sheen.
--Scrub the floor with floor prep cleaning machine and intensive floor cleaner
--Repeat scrub with cleaning machine and chemical neutralizer
--Apply Hardwood floor Refinisher with a microfiber cleaning pad
When your floor starts to show signs of wear or dulling it is probably time for a recoat. If you recoat your floors every few years depending on use, you can avoid having to completely resand. Keep your floors clean by using the correct products and you will extend the life of your finish and floor
Some cleaners sold as hardwood floor cleaners may actually harm your hardwood floors. Never use wax-based or silicone-based polish, paste wax, solvent-based or acidic cleaners, or pine-based cleaners on your wood floor. Some waxes or soaps may look nice at first but will make the floor more difficult to clean and may cause problems when the floor requires refinishing.
